A bar - Hell, Michigan - Monday evening

One bodyslide away from the island, they arrived in a small town that proudly proclaimed it's name.

"Welcome to Hell, Nate!" Wade said, grinning cheerfully. "I coulda told you it was in Michigan, but I thought that was just assumed."

Where else would Hell be?

"German or Canadian?" he asked, partly to let that one slide, and partly because while import? wasn't even a question, nationality of said beer was. Nate nodded at the barman.

"Canadian, my good man," Deadpool said to the bartender, ignoring the looks.

Nate firmly sat his posterior down on a stool by the bar. "Canadian," he repeated, and now the barman quickly went into gear. "So," he continued, "How is Robin dealing with the job...?"

"I think--" wade paused for dramatic effect. "You're building up a nice lil' base."

"You did like the swivveling chairs," he deadpanned. "Anything about ms. Scherbatsky?"

"Don't pull the same crap on her you try on Irene," Wade replied.

"People aren't interchangeable." He took the beer the bartender slapped down in front of him, and took a sip.

"Really?" Wade muttered, grabbing his beer.

"Really," Nate affirmed. "She shares some of Irene's skills, but I'd be hard-pressed to confuse the two." Which meant he'd just have to pull different crap, instead.

"Uh-huh." Wade drank his beer calmly. He so believed Nate. "So! How was your team?"

"Young," Nate replied, taking a swig. "I had to ask one not to bring a fireball on a stealth mission, but otherwise it worked out." You know, gremlin guts notwithstanding.

"A fireball? Did you have that annoying Storm kid on your team?"

"Storm would've been harder to deal with." Compliments where compliments were due. "I'm simply glad Stryfe kept to himself." Probably brooding.

"It's probably because I took his helmet," Wade replied, preening now.

"Do you still have it?" He'd wondered what happened to the objects the inhabitants of the other island had left behind.

"...well it was in my closet the last time I say it."

"Hm," he said, eloquently. "Might be a good way to start a trophy case."

Nate missed his a lot, sometimes.

"It's not a trophy," Wade insisted. "It's simply a way to remember the charming times I had with him."

Nate raised an eyebrow at him-- mostly just out of amusement and form's sake. "Hope you got him a nice shelf."

"I think it's behind my collection of Mountie hats..."

"Two. Two count as a collection, right?"

"It counts as a start," he said, taking a quick swig and mentally patting Fraser on the shoulder.

Nate shot him a sideways look. "I doubt the good Constable stole your hat."
