25 Unicorn Street, Wednesday Evening

It was ANTM night at the Unicorn house which was really more manly than it sounded.

Really.

"Wow, she's bitchy!"

"If one of those models got pregnant, they wouldn't make her get rid of the baby just because she looked a little bit..bigger would they?"

"One of 'em already has a baby!" Rosette chimed in quickly, rather eager to move on from talk of why anyone would think she could possibly be pregnant. "The bitchy one that no one likes. See?" She pointed her out on the screen.

Deadpool's silence probably said enough as to his opinion on the pregnant nun matter.

"Really?" He tilted his head to the side. "Now?"

Rosette drew in a slight breath with her eyes shifting slightly toward Deadpool. She didn't like it when he was quiet like that; it meant something was wrong and he was getting all testy again. But she tried to focus on Shuichi instead. "Her baby's back at home. She ditched the kid and the husband to go be a model." She nodded sagely.

Deadpool busied himself with a cupcake. He wasn't angry about a certain biy named Dickweed at all, la.

"That's aweful! That poor baby!" Shuichi made a gooey sad face at the thought of the poor kid sitting alone at his house.

"Just think about when he's older, and all the kids make fun of him because him mom was a reality television dropout. That's assuming, of course, that she doesn't make it. BUt I don't think she will. I...I'm not sure who I'm rooting for..."

Okay, trying to talk more to make up for what Deadpool wasn't saying ran down; time to try plan B. "You got a favourite yet, Deadpool?" She nudged him.

"The one that looks like Arashi when he was a chick," Deadpool said, half a cupcake in his mouth.

Shuichi...didn't know what that looked like, so he remained pretty unresponsive to that, "How long before they figure out who wins?"

Neither did Rosette, because she didn't even think she knew who Arashi was. But words! Yay! "They kick one girl out each week, so....however many girls are left is how many they have until one emerges victorious."

"Like the Thunderdome, Shuichi. Or a cage fight with more makeup," Deadpool added helpfully.

"So, once this fight is over...what does the winner get? Are they just the best model of all..?"

Rosette chuckled. "The prettiest model in alllll the land," she nodded. "And they get a modeling contract and a photoshoot for a magazine and bragging rights and pretty clothes and people always thinking they're gorgeous..." She let out a sigh. "I so should have been a model. Even if we didn't have anything like this back in '26."

"You have a bust Rosette," Deadpool pointed out. "Models are flat and waifish and kinda unappealing."

"Yea, you don't wanna be a model! Then you won't eat anymore and you'll abandon your babies and stuff!"

Rosette laughed. As much as she could without having to draw back because it made her stomach feel funny. "Okay, okay. No modeling. Oh! Although I actually did a day as a model, way back when, when I first moved here, well before you two got here. I'm kinda sad you guys missed it, now. I don't care what you say; I owned that runway."

"You did a little turn on the catwalk? On the catwalk yeah?"

"For a day? What were you modeling for?! Did you get pictures taken or anything?" Shuichi swayed back and forth on the couch, tossing his head with his movement.

Rosette nodded proudly. "I did my little turn on the catwalk."

"And some of the students got pictures, I'm sure of it, but it was so long ago. I got to be Really Strong Girl who Can Fly Really Fast. I was hot."

And now she was wondering what happened to that costume....

"Miss Marvel?"

"A super hero?" A flying nun came to mind. And that was a just a tad too silly, even for Shuichi.

"Uh, yeah," Rosette nodded to Shuichi before asking "Who's Miss Marvel? And is she hot and looks good in a short skirt? If so, then, yes, sure, why not her too?"

"She has this weird scarf thingy," Deadpool said after a moment. "And she's a little crazy."

Shuichi furrowed his brow a little at that, "I don't know if you want to be identified as a crazy person." Not that he could say much about that himself..
