And there was still a husband. And a hungover minion downstairs.

He wanted waffles now. So, he was in the kitchen. Making waffles.

"My friends are awesome," she said, nodding. "I didn't want to call them again all, hi, sorry, I need to cry on you again. I ... I knew it was stupid, like, that it wasn't really a way to cope. I just thought I'd stop feeling for a while and that was good enough."

"True, but you don't want to get into the habit of doing it that way," he smiled. "Tell you what, next time you feel like you need help coping. Come over and Deadpool and I will help you out. Okay?"

"You don't mind?" she said, flushing a little. "That ... that'd be really nice. I don't wanna ... you know, be a bother or whatever."

"Nah," he smiled and shook his head. "It'll give Deadpool more experience with kids, in case my son ever comes to school."

"You have a son?" she said with a smile. "He's, uh. He's really good with us minions. He kidnapped Jude for me once and everything." She blinked. "That was a good thing, at the time."

"Yes, I have a son probably about yuor age now. He's a ninja like me back home," he explained with a smile. "When Wade and I went to visit I don't think he made the best impression," Arashi laughed.

Rikku laughed. "Maybe he was nervous. I mean, you're his husband and all, and that's your son, so it's ... you know. It's a huge thing. That's gotta be scary."
