Office Hours, All day Friday
-because I have cancer! And I'm stronger than that!
Deadpool leaned back in his chair, enjoying the cinematic masterpiece brought to him and his lil' Canadian buddy by the Lifetime channel. It had been playing non-stop since yesterday and Deadpool was almost certain that it would snap Grope-y Mcbadtouch over there out of whatever was affecting him.
He didn't know much about magic and was just piecing together information from various movie he had seen over the years. It worked pretty well so far.
Unless you count all the times it didn't turn out so nice, of course.
[[ooc: For the skater, but open for others if they want - and I'm a spaz and keep forgetting, Jude being there is NFB]]

"Fumigating your office. I'm such an idiot. I can't believe I fell for that."

"You didn't need to see him like that," He replied, not sounding very sorry at all. "He wasn't afraid of me."

She took a breath. "Are you hurt?"

She cleared her throat and looked between them again, feeling like she was stuck on-stage and didn't know her next line. Crap.
"Don't leave," she said to Jude. And then turned back to her mentor. "You're right. I didn't need to see that. I ... should I say thank you?"
no subject
This was the kind of situation where a normal person would have left Rikku and Jude to discuss his magic induced groping and douche-ish behavior. Deadpool, on the other hand, stayed where he was, lest Jude have a relapse.

The hardest thing about this was that she just wanted to throw her arms around him and have him squeeze her until she felt safe again, except for the bits of her that weren't sure they'd be okay with that just yet.
No, the hardest thing was the way he kept not looking at her.
No, it was seeing that duct tape on the chair and wondering if he thought that she'd sent Deadpool after him for revenge.
Maybe all of it was hard.
She fussed with her hair nervously. "Did you ... do you know how you got cursed? What kind of spell it was, or how it got you? Do you ... r-remember anything? Of what ... happened?"

She hugged her arms around herself, tightly. "Sorry about ... punching you. Well, not sorry, 'cause I had to, and you totally deserved it, not you I guess, but ... you know what I mean." She hoped he did. She certainly didn't.

She looked at the chair again, stomach rolling. "I didn't," she blurted out suddenly, "I ... didn't mean for, this to. Uh. This wasn't. Like. 'Go kill him for me.' It wasn't ... even when I thought it was you."

She looked over at him. "This ... wasn't your fault. I mean, right? It wasn't. This wasn't, like, 'here's a spell for, what you're really like and your girlfriend doesn't know.' It wasn't. Right? You're not ... it wasn't you. Wasn't your fault."
no subject
"No. Wasn't me. At all. I would never . . . n-not like that. Never if you didn't want me to."
no subject
There was a pause. "I don't know ... I mean, it's all kinda weird now, and ... it's probably gonna be weird for a bit, but ..." Rikku took a deep breath. "I don't wanna be split up. If you don't. I don't know how things are gonna be for a bit, but ... I don't want that."

Rikku stepped forwardly tentatively, arms still wrapped around herself, and rested her forehead lightly against his chest. "I missed you."
no subject
Very very slowly, his hands came up to rest on her upper arms - almost a hug without the actual, y'know, hugging bit. "I'm sorry," he said quietly.
no subject
He cleared his throat loudly. "Well look at the time. Looks like it's time for me to go home and make sure Yuki hasn't killed poor little Cotton Candy over that manuscript of his." Pause. "Hopefully they won't be on the kitchen table again." He shuddered. "There isn't enough bleach in the world to make me eat there ever again."
no subject
She turned to Deadpool and gestured vaguely. "I, uh, thanks for ... the whole ..."
The heck with it. She leaned forward and gave him a squeezy hug, sniffling. "Thank you."
no subject
"...you're welcome..."
And look at that. All it took to shut him up was a spazzy blond teenage girl. No need for grenades or duct tape.
no subject
And turned back to Jude. "You, uh, you probably need." She considered. "Food? How late is your diner open?"
