So. It was that time of year and there was a kid around. That meant Wade needed to teach Jan all the wonders of the saccharine sweet morals on TV this time of the year.

"Now, I was thinkin' of startin' you out with that wimp-ass It's A Wonderful Life where they never gave that guy his comeuppance for losing all their money. Because I'd choke a bitch," He said, fiddling with the DVD player as Jan sat perched on the couch with a very displeased fox in her arms. "Teach him to lose my money with a fist to the face."

Jan just giggled in agreement as someone was being silly.

He thought it best not to mention he totally would punch Jimmy Stewart in the face if he could.

"Not that The Grinch is much better, but... It's a kids classic."

And then at the movie playing on the TV.

"Classic!" Jan chimed in. "It is!"

Nate paused, and glanced towards Jan. "Nice mirroring," he had to judge. "Think I'll call out for some pizza..."

"Thanks, dear," Wade replied, pointing out Cindy Lou Who to Jan as she came on the screen. "And that is who we sympathize with."

Nate flicked him in the head as he got up. It was well-deserved, thanks.

Jan just clapped her hands and giggled, letting go of Max's ear. The poor fox didn't have a lot of time to enjoy her freedom, as she was promptly hugged hard.

"How is mommy anyway?" Wade called after him, letting Jan enjoy the show.

"Good," he said, picking up the pizzeria's flyer. "A little confused. The local Bobby Drake went through that ordeal with Loki a few weeks back..."

"Seriously? Asgardian guy who I think is actually a chick at the moment, Loki? Pretended to be my dad until it was retconned, Loki?"

"No." Nate glanced at the leaflet. "But Jean overextended her powers in the process. It's likely that's what's pulling Phoenix here."

"Fun times," Wade replied, making a face. "I'm warnin' Cap, eff why eye. Since he's the only other person here who will get it."

He picked up the phone. "Hello--? I'd like to place an order..."

Honestly, it wasn't like Nate really needed the brochure. They ate the same thing every time.
