So, it was snowing.

Hells to the yeah. That meant a snow day from going out and doin' crap like shopping or--shopping. Look, Deadpool really didn't like shopping.

This now meant that Nate wasn't gonna be goin' to work either. Instead he was being used like a pillow slash personal heater on the couch. He was going to enjoy the damn snuggling and take it like a man, okay?

"Just lay back and think of Providence," Deadpool suggested, settling for the fiftieth show on home improvement of the morning.

Nate sighed a sigh of incredible exasperation. Down on the floor, Jan clapped her hands against the carpet. "I'm not sure I see the point of yet another rerun."

"Shhhhh. Carter Oosterhouse is talking."

Nate shot him a distinct Look. "Wade..."

They'd probably had this argment about five times today. "CNN."

"Five minutes." Oh yeah, it was a normal argument.

"Five minutes tends to become ten," he said, sensibly.

"CNN, Wade." He needed to know about world affairs. "And then Al Jazeera."

Wade sighed. "Fine. But We get to do that thing with the stuff in the place when the kid is asleep."

Nate considered that, shifting slightly to... all right, make Wade more comfortable. "She looks like she'll be up for racktime in thirty minutes."

"Awww, you're so sweet," Wade replied smugly, offering over the remote. "See, this is why we haven't killed each other in almost a year."

"I'm glad you're reminding me," he said, dryly, and took the remote. "Have you talked to Cap yet?" If not, Nate might have to.

"That involves effort and junk," Wade replied. "I'll find him the next time he and drunky are off being gay at each other."

Nate took a moment to mentally decipher that. "Try not to tell Stark too much."

"...can I ask when he's gonna go nuts and put people in superjail?"

He sighed. "No."

"What about asking if his suit has gone all boiling a bunny on him yet?"

Nate shot him a look, running a hand over his arm. "No, Wade."

Wade just sighed like a teenage girl. "You ruin all my fun, man. What next? No more makin' fun of Emma?"

"Try not to do too much damage to her psyche," Nate said, magnanimously. "We have to avoid upsetting his timeline."

"She's at a non-critical point in her timeline," he pointed out. His head was tilted towards the screen in an attempt to get some of the action. "I don't see the point in making it critical."

"Fiiiiine." He was just gonna lay in wait on that one. "Can we at least make fun of the blond chick on this channel? God, I hate her face. She's always judging me for my lifestyle choices. Hey, if I wanna live in sin with a pet fox, she can't say one damn thing about it. Max is allowed to live free."
