That might have been why he was actually in his office. The place he stored paperwork that he didn't want to do. "Wow, this place is dusty," he said to no one in particular. Because needless descriptions were damn fun, okay?

Raven blinked. "If you wish," she said slowly. "Though I am relieved at being restored to my true form again." One could not type with hooves, or read, or apply black eyeliner.

Raven's eyes widened. "I did not intend to insinuate such a thing," she said quickly. "I know that she is frequently in your care. You are her babysitter?"

"Something like that," Deadpool admitted. "It's complicated. She may or may not be the reincarnation of Nate's mom, so..."

"That is...complicated," Raven said, trying to wrap her mind around that. And she thought her canon was messed up.

She'd almost forgotten, but that served to remind her. She crossed her arms over her chest. "I am not freaky," she said. "Nor is Jono, and I would like to request you be more respectful on the radio, please."

"Um, have you met me" Deadpool asked slowly. "I don't even respect the guy I'm sleepin' with about these things."

He had a point there. "I have taken classes with you, yes," she said. "But I do not need to know the details of your relationship as you do not need to know the details of mine and Jono's."

"I do radio," Deadpool reminded her. "It's all about the TMI."

Evil squirrels. Again, he had a point. She really wasn't sure what she was trying to accomplish here but she had to register her displeasure!

"But he doesn't have a jaw! That's totally freaky, man," Deadpool replied. He had a three year old. Pouts were useless against him. "I'm pretty sure I saw that online. It was probably Japanese too. Oh, Japan..."

She might have overlooked the comments if he'd just been talking about her, but she was very protective of Jono.

"I am an empath," Raven said, which totally explained everything. She wasn't sure what Japan had to do with anything, though.

Because he was the worst adult on the island. Yes, this included Charlie 'What's my daughter's name again?' Swan.

"Just because Jono is different on the outside does not make him any less worthy or capable of love," Raven said stiffly. At least Deadpool hadn't called him a corpse like someone else who was going to get a scolding.

"See, I never said that part," Deadpool replied. "I just think it's freaky. Because it so is. All that psycho-kinetic flames and the smell of burnt rubber..."

"It is not freaky," Raven protested. "But we do not require your approval. I had just hoped that perhaps you could understand that in his own world he is treated poorly because of being a mutant. In Fandom that should be different."

Deadpool stared for a moment before having to laugh until his ribs hurt. "Oh, you're too funny."
