He was just glad there weren't any space pirates running around here. With mullets. And cat/fox/whatever the hell-girlfriends.
He might, however, be wondering what would happen if ninjas faced off against space pirates. It was his happy place of stabbing and laser guns that made no logical sense, but sure looked cool anyway.
