And there was still a husband. And a hungover minion downstairs.

He wanted waffles now. So, he was in the kitchen. Making waffles.

Rikku grimaced, again. "Don't think so. Just ended up feeling stupid and puking in a bucket. Didn't ..." She sighed. "I didn't think it'd change anything. I just thought I'd stop feeling it all for a bit. And it didn't do that very well, either."

Aly reached over to pat Rikku on the shoulder. "Alcohol dulls your reflexes anyway. Not really worth it."

"Plus all the puking is gross," she observed. "And one time I ended up kissing this jerk and ... yeah. Apparently you get severely stupid, too."

"And there's probably more than enough stupidity available without outside influences," Aly said ruefully. "Least that's what I've found."
