He wasn't in a hotel room. This was good.

And there was still a husband. And a hungover minion downstairs.

Interesting.

He wanted waffles now. So, he was in the kitchen. Making waffles.

"Mmm, waffly goodness."

"Exactly!" Wade said. He paused. "Should I get some ale now and goose you?"

"Only if you want to lose a finger," she said perkily.

"Even if I do it with an olde englishe accente?" He might very well be pouting there.

Aly burst out laughing. "Do I have an Olde Englishe Accente?"

"You could be hiding it," Wade replied. "Tricksy like that."

Aly sighed and spoke in her normal accent. "Not really, see?"

"But you do have an accent," Wade replied, mimicking it.

"Yes, but it's stupid so I don't use it," she said, making a face.

Wade chuckled. "Could be worse! You could be French. Or Dutch!"

She stuck her tongue out at him. "I already speak enough languages. Do you really think I need more to play with?"

"Yes!" Wade was just being a dork now, really. "Because then I can pester you in another language."

Tongue? Still Sticking out at him. But not while she was talking cause ick.

"You can pester me in another language now! Pester, tiny red one! Pester like the wind!"

Aly rolled her eyes and answered him in Bazhir. //Totally tiny, Pool of Death. And this one is perfectly fine, yes.//

Great how so many languages from her world lined up with earth languages.

Shoving the waffle in his mouth, Wade smirked. Mmm, delicious waffles. //"Make me."// He shot back in Japanese.

"Not Waffle Henge!" Wade threw a sausage at her. "You cruel woman!"

She caught the sausage and took a happy bite out of it. "I am, yes. Terribly cruel. just like a person who STOLE my waffle."
